Moving is no fun. Doing the move yourself is a lot of work. If you plan on doing the move yourself you will want to consider a facility that provides you with a Free Truck Rental so you can move your belongings into your self storage unit.

Free Moving Aids

A good free rental truck program will supply you, free of charge, all the moving aids you will need to protect and move your furniture, appliances and boxes. Our truck includes, free of charge, twelve moving blankets you can use to wrap your furniture on the truck so it doesn’t get scratched in transport. We include a furniture dolly, an appliance dolly and a two wheel hand dolly free of charge to help lift, and roll your belongings on to the truck and into your self storage unit.

Ease of Use

A good rental truck will have great visibility, be easy to drive and easy to load and unload. Our truck is an Isuzu make, has an automatic transmission, is easy to get in and out of, and puts you as driver upfront of the cab so you have great visibility of the road. It also has wide side mirrors to provide good visibility to the rear. The back door spans the entire entrance and rolls up, out of the way, along the roof for easy access. An easy drop down ramp is provided under the truck box frame and slides into position to provide an easy, non skid, walk up ramp into the 12 foot deep by 8 foot wide by 7 foot high walk in box.

To start the Free Truck Rental process, call our office at 239-948-0700 to reserve a date. Call early because the Free Truck Rental program is popular and books quickly especially on weekends. All you need is your driver’s license and a copy of your proof of insurance card. Most personal individual car insurance companies cover you when you drive a friends cars, however they typically will not cover you when you drive a moving truck such as ours. To protect you in the case of an accident our minimal damage waiver fee of $22.00 plus state of Florida Sales Tax will limit your liability.
